After breakfast, you will be driven via road to Kuensel Phodrang aka Buddha Point. It holds the largest statue of Buddha in Bhutan and gives a panoramic view of the valleys around it. After exploring and praying to the statue, you will be driven to King’s Memorial Chorten.
King’s Memorial Chorten is a famous religious destination, where you can find pilgrims and locals circumambulating as they murmur chant and spin the prayer wheels. The next destination is the Textile Museum, which holds displays of local dresses, textiles, weaving techniques, and so on.
The last site to enjoy in Thimphu during this itinerary is the Folk Heritage Museum, which holds exhibits of rural life, folk heritage, and others, including educational programs, demonstrations, and so on.
